as the first month of the new year approaches its ending weeks, i m overly bothered & stressed by the overwhelming amount of work. the term's so freaking short, i can hardly believe that it has ended. yea peepz, term 1's over and my final term is up & coming.
m i looking forward to it?
i seriously doubt so.
surprisingly, there's a lot of apprehension. probably because i dunno wadz next in life. well, i'm giving myself a few months to consider. wahaha. cuz once a person starts working, life's gonna be routine & extremely mundane. i've got certain things in mind, but i hope it works out. for instance, i shall spend time with dar while he clears his leave and ORD. 3 magical alphabets! weeeee! waited a long time for it. cmon... i din expect for it to happen at first, but now tt i m so close... i cant possibly give it up, can i? E.N.D.U.R.E!
god bless me mannz! in every way possible. sounds damn greedy. but i wish God will. please.
something strucked me today. about how every one of us look for God in a physical sense, wanting to see His face, wanting to hear Him speak. and at times where bad things happen, we simply keep on asking "Where's God?"
i guess God works in many ways. and one of it has to be through the lovely people around us. no matter how dark & stormy days may be, the rays from the sunshine will come through.
the tsunami disaster hoohaa is all gone with... but the devastation remains. read a meaningful article sometime ago, pretty lengthy... but tot it was good to share...
Value of One Life
From a human standpoint, the value of an item is inversely proportional
to the quantity. But in God's economy, the value of one life is not
proportionate to the number.
The worth of one life lost is not diminished by the rising number in
the death toll. Every life is precious in God?s sight. God knows. God
understands. God grieves. As Jesus has said, ?Suppose one of you has a
hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in
the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it??
(Lk 15:4)
Self-reflection: Capture the Moments, Change Your life
Rumination is an important activity for all of us to do. For me,
setting aside time for reflection is crucial. Or else, we will simply cruise
along life?s journey and not make any significant changes. And life
will just go on a month or two after this catastrophic event. Some of the
questions I am reflecting on are:
- Where is God in all this?
- What can I learn about myself?
- What should I do differently?
Life beyond this life.
The core of it is to remind ourselves that life in this world is a
temporary journey.
And it's a holy duty to be more intentional in sharing Christ with all
our friends & people around us.
That all the things in this world is full of unpredictability and
fragility
When I examine these tragic events, I cannot but focus on eternity.
Life will only make sense if it is lived beyond this life. Eternity makes
life on earth more meaningful. Without that eternal perspective, life
would not be worth living. ?Therefore we do not lose heart. Though
outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal
glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is
seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is
unseen is eternal.? (2 Cor 4:16-18)
