Sha...La...La

my skin's peeling, thanks to the ceaseless mucus and the abrasion of (even the softest) tissue against my delicate skin!

thanks to the medication (oral and emotional), i m up & runnin'! well enough to spend the short break with a blast.

finally... after an insanely long period of time, cabsie makes it to town on a saturday night! it was an impromptu decision. i actually wanted to go out for a short while and rush home to catch the Monaco Grand Prix qualifying. but it turned out to be quite a long meeting that lifted up my spirits. walked around PS... despite everything being on sale, nothing quite caught my eye. or maybe, it was just me. i wasn't in the mood to hunt for clothes and contrary to the popular belief that retail theraphy can make a girl happy, i'm the total opposite. i can't shop when i m in a foul mood... cause all things (even beautiful) cannot seem to appeal. my nose was running non-stop and that definitely didnt make me feel the least bit better. the medication caused the secretion of gastric juices that stirred my tummy and caused me to feel nauseous for a moment or two. down to crystal jade kitchen, ting & i went had a good talk over a long dinner where we kindda struggled to finish the food. it's consoling to know i'm not alone and there are people who feel the same way as i do. we took a stroll down Orchard Road, wandering around. we were exploring all sorts of beauty products that night. face, body, hands, legs etc. haha. afterall, as age is playing catch-up, we all gotta make worthy investments huh. our journey stopped at Robinsons as we didnt wanna be part of that real crowd in Orchard. we headed back to kovan's HK Cafe for the Ice Mango! Oooh Lala... my all time fave dessert. Ice topped with mango chunks and ice-cream. what a treat for the day! the day ended on an all-time high as dada waited at my bus stop for me to walk me home and spend the night with me!
the long awaited foursome finally came thru! our dinner date was brought forward for a round of enjoyable kboxing. it was the first time that we were k-ing together and it turned to be memorable! the guys were given a chance to exercise their high pitches, low notes and manly voices! haha. they were hilarious. kek-ing here and there. the night ended with a chain of duets. i will remember john's high on alamawasaba, dada's cantonese tunes, ah-lians lamenting of john's singing distracting her and my dual role of boy and girl in duets! as we both couples share a similar future path, we discussed many issues of the future and we realized how tough is it gonna be. especially financially! i do hope we'll become neighbours as planned! hahaz.
had steamboat @ valerie's place in the noon. as usual... so much leftovers! the soup was fantastic! and absolutely healthy as it was homemade. her executive flat in Punggol 21 is well-furnished and within a cool budget! and the exterior's so much like any other condominium! we had a filling meal, cool desserts, healthy fruits and simple fun.

and now's to bed... for a swim with the two sweeties tmr!
